Advanced Health-Nutritional Evaluation and Treatment

After an appointment is scheduled, patients are sent a comprehensive health questionnaire to fill out at home before their visit. This must be completely filled out before you can see Dr. Osborne.

Your initial visit:
Your initial appointment will consist of a full history, physical examination and laboratory work-up. If you have recent laboratory reports from other doctors please bring them in for your first appointment. The appointment takes approximately 1 hour. After your appointment, two vials of blood will be drawn (no fasting is required). It may also be necessary to order additional tests, but initially, the following nutrients are analyzed through a functional lymphocyte assay:

Follow-up visit and plan-of-action:
It takes approximately 2 weeks to culture your blood cells and obtain the results. Once the results are processed, you will receive a phone call for your follow-up consultation. At this appointment, Dr. Osborne will go over your lab results in detail and map out a plan customized to suit your health needs. It may also be necessary to order additional specialized laboratory tests at this time. Generally, follow up appointments are scheduled monthly for the first 4 months to ensure that patients are fully educated about lifestyle and dietary intervention strategies. A re-test is typically ordered after 6 months.
